Export formats: CSV, Excel, JSON, Google Sheets

Which format to choose and how to use each one.

3 min read·Exports

CSV

Best for opening in Excel, Numbers, or any data tool. Universal, lightweight, and the default choice.

Excel (.xlsx)

Pre-formatted with headers, freeze rows, and auto-sized columns. Pick this if you want to share the file directly with non-technical teammates.

JSON

Best for developers — full nested structure including replies, exact data types, and metadata. Use this if you're feeding the data to another system.

Google Sheets

We push the export straight into a new Google Sheet in your account. You'll need to authorize Google Drive access on first use.
