Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with ExportComments. Here's exactly when refunds are available and how to request one.
Effective: January 1, 2025
1. Monthly subscriptions
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on Creator, Pro, and Agency monthly subscriptions provided that:
- You request the refund within 7 days of the initial charge.
- You have not run any paid exports during that period.
- This is your first time subscribing on this account.
Renewal charges (months 2 and beyond) are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time and continue to use the service until the end of the billing period.
2. Starter pass ($3, 3 days)
The Starter pass is non-refundable due to its low price and short duration. We display a clear summary of what the pass includes before checkout, so please review it carefully before purchasing.
3. Annual plans
Annual plans (where available) follow the same 7-day window. After 7 days, we may issue a prorated refund for unused full months at our discretion, minus a 10% processing fee.
4. Refunds for service issues
If a billable export fails entirely due to a bug on our side, we will refund the credits used. If the Service is unavailable for an extended period, we may issue prorated credits at our discretion.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund:
- Open a ticket from the support page.
- Choose "Billing / Subscription" as the topic and include the email address used for the purchase.
- Briefly explain the reason for the refund.
Eligible refunds are processed within 1 business day. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via PayPal and may take 3-5 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback — we can almost always resolve issues directly and faster. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended.
7. Exceptions
No refunds are available where prohibited by law, where an account has been terminated for violating our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, or where the request is made in bad faith.
